Firstly, on behalf of Molesey Royal British Legion, a massive thank you and well done to everybody for making this years Remembrance Service Parade one of the biggest ever. Both the police and ourselves estimate around 1500 plus people were on the parade from the Legion to the Memorial.
It was amazing to see so many young children involved so thumbs up to the whole community – it’s not a time for naming anybody, it is simply a hugely collective well done to Mums, Dads, Kids and all who spoke at the service itself.
Finally, we are grateful to the police for their much needed assistance with road closures and to our volunteer force who kept the roads clear and the people safe.
