May and June​ at the Legion

The year is flying by it seems and we have a very busy time coming up with at least SIX live shows over the next few months including of course Elite Elton who has this week been nominated for The National Tribute Awards which is a great accolade.

The Race Night has been put on hold for now (probably until mid August) whilst we try and find a date which suits everyone. A new date will be announced very soon.

Coming up over the next few months we have a new soloist in Ray “Flick” Keates, the return of entertainers such as 4 piece family band The Naked Penguins plus the soul sensation Kaiya Maxfield and her band by request and a debut appearance of the very stylish and highly regarded Flashback Band.

Friday, May 31st

The monthly cash quiz night Questionmaster for this one is Peter T £2 per player – everybody welcome All starts around 8-30pm

Saturday, June 1st

Private party but as always, members welcome.

Friday, June 7th

The monthly poker tournament
£20 registration including bounty
Hot food, the licensed bar at great prices New players welcome.

Register by 7-45pm – top four cash prizes.

Saturday 8th June – Change of event

Our race night has been postponed until we agree on a suitable date with our regular race night visitors. We will advise as soon as we have confirmed the revised date.

DJ Pete Bowers will be playing the tunes as Molesey Carnival Day winds down – then he gets to have a few weeks off!

Friday, June 14th

It’s social arrows to start the weekend. Strictly for fun players only. Drinks, nibbles, loads of chat and heckling plus a bit of fun on the oche.  All starts around 8-30pm.

Friday, June 21st

Open Mic Night. Everyone is welcome, performers of any style or level, whether beginner or professional are invited to come down and perform. It starts at 8:30 pm.

Saturday, June 22nd

Ray Keates live. Ray is a regular on the open mic scene. A talented and versatile musician playing tracks from the 60’s through to modern hits.
