As some of you may know, we have had a local theatre company rehearsing at the club for the last few weeks for an upcoming stage play before it hits the theatre.
As a thank you, the cast and crew have very kindly invited the club members to a free performance on the final rehearsal evening before they start the show in earnest at the Playhouse in Walton on Thames. Here is a brief synopsis of the show:
‘Set in the eighties, comedic and sometimes tragic, ‘Close Encounters’ takes its audience on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. As the gin and tonics flow, secrets are revealed, old antagonisms surface … and the evening descends into highly entertaining chaos.’
Please feel free to come down and enjoy the performance on Wednesday 22nd April. Show time is 8PM and it’s free to all members. Guests are also welcome.
