Just a reminder that we have our annual Macmillan fundraising weekend approaching rapidly. It’s a full weekend of events to raise money for a charity that does amazing work. It’s a very worthy cause we are proud to support and has turned into one of our annual highlights. It’s alway a great fun weekend and all events will raise money for Macmillan cancer support.
Kicking off on the afternoon of Saturday 24th, from 12-4pm there is the Molesey Mens Clothing Exchange in the hall. Following on from the very successful women’s version that runs in Molesey, there is now a mens version. The idea is simple. Bring in items of good condition, clean clothing and recycle as you swap for other garments. Entry is £2, which supports the charity.
Saturday evening then is the race night ! As always, horses will be available to own and races can be sponsored. Race bookings are available from the 7th (this Thursday) , so get thinking of those comedy names. All are welcome, and the kids especially love these race nights so bring the whole family. If you or anyone you know would like to sponsor a race and get a mention in the printed booklet as a sponser then again drop Pete a mail.
Sunday 24th is then the Macmillan coffee morning and family day. Start the day with a full cooked breakfast, and stay for an afternoon of fun, games, auctions and raffles. The whole family is welcome again, and it always end up being a fun day.
